Ewan Graham
Fine Art Norfolk
Artist Ewan Graham was born in Scotland in 1960 and has over the decades nurtured his love of art and embraces a passion about the power of art to transform lives. Based in the heart of Norfolk; his activity explores light and tonal shift, creating an exciting and diverse range of art works.
He is personally drawn to memorable pieces which lead the viewer into a story, each piece enabling the viewer to create their own interpretation. Ewan has studied with several established artists over the years and is eternally grateful to those that have supported his development and acted as mentors over the years. Each piece is personally signed, with a unique reference identifier.

My art raison d’etre:
Creating pieces from imagination, presents me necessary freedom to make atmospheric pieces; landscapes, seascapes, and fantasy nebula, all capturing my mood at the time. Painting what pleases and speaks to me in a particular moment helps my drive to convey a sense of calm (or otherwise) and enables me to paint instinctively. Defying categorisation, offers a gateway to ethereal unspecified places, capturing mood and movement.
Like for many artists, the occasional foray into abstraction is a welcome rupture, creating without constraints. Themes of paintings are derived from inspiration of countryside, imagination, observation and on occasion wanderlust.
Infinite Horizons Norwich
(12th-17th October 2026)
The familiar beauty of the landscape to mysterious depths of the universe.
This unfolding collection of oil paintings brings together my classic landscapes with my latest series of luminous ethereal nebulae; exploring atmosphere, light distance and human fascination with what lies beyond the horizon. 14 carefully crafted nebulae invite you to look outward into immense distances, whilst the earthly landscapes bring that same sense of wonder back to the familiar world in a shared sense of place.
Nebula Limited Addition Collection
After amazing feedback from my Artspace Woodbridge solo exhibition I’m pleased to announce a limited edition run of my nebula series, available on a first come first served basis either individually or as a full set.
ARCHIVE News
Excited to announce my submission to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2024 was shortlisted.
‘When Dust and Gas Collide’ measured 24” x 18”, Oil on Canvas Board and was inspired by the amazing pictures returned by the Hubble Space Telescope over the years. My abstracted interpretation takes a recognised form and stretches it within the imagination to deliver a plausible alternative.
The piece was subsequently acquired by a lovely couple, and now graces a wall in their private property in Hackney, London.
